This work was based on a found vintage photograph of a French pétanque player. Completed whilst on holiday during the Covid-19 pandemic, alot of time was spent staying at home, and so we played pétanque most days in the garden. After searching the internet, I came across this amazing old photograph and had to give it tribute somehow.
